Everything was simply lovely. I lovely spend 1 night in Canmore. The staff and the owner were all affable and helpful. I asked for double room and it was gorgeous with fireplace. Location: the hotel was not far from lovely downtown Canmore, beautiful nature and walking trail. I tried some drinks at bar Cabeza Grande, located 15 minutes walk away

Staying at Ambleside Lodge was a real treat. The location shines with fine views and is only a 10-minute walk from Canmore's town center, right by the Bow River. I loved that my room, the Beautiful Double or Twin Room, felt cozy and cute, with a nice sitting area. The communal lounge area was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, complete with complimentary tea and coffee. What stood out was the breakfast. Each morning offered very nice options, and accommodating dietary restrictions showed their thoughtful approach. The hosts, Annie and Brian. The room got a bit warm at night due to the lack of air conditioning, uncomfortable . Despite that, I found my time here enjoyable and nice were good.
